The knowledge of my heritage has been passed down to me by my grandmother, on my mother's side of the family. I am committed to learning more about my ancestry and adding to this section. For now, I proudly display the family crest from that side of the family. The crest, as shown above, was painted on a wooden shield that my grandmother had commissioned in France by a renowned artist. It remains one of our cherished family treasures.
One of my ancestors, Jean Paul Tijou, was a master wrought iron worker who crafted the gates at St. Paul's Cathedral in London. Below, you can see pictures of his magnificent work.
